It takes up impulses from society, stimulates dialogue on current topics and enriches the city culturally. University as economic factor

The University of Bremen is an economic factor that has a particular impact on the city and state of Bremen as well as the north-west metropolitan region. People are trained here who transfer knowledge and innovation to companies and other organisations. With a budget of around 300 million euros, around 3,000 employees and 20,000 students, the university makes a significant contribution to regional gross value added.

OPEN CAMPUS

"Opening up worlds - sharing knowledge": this is the motto under which the university invites interested members of the public to OPEN CAMPUS every two years. The open-air event in the Campus Park offers insights into research and teaching.

From the files to the stage

"From the files to the stage" - under this motto, students of history and actors from the bremer shakespeare company (bsc) develop staged readings from original historical documents.
