moreThe University archive has the task of archiving the records of the University of Bremen. It secures, indexes and preserves the records of all university committees and institutions as well as documents from research and teaching. The official documents are supplemented by collections and bequests. These sources document in many ways the history and development of the university, which was founded in 1971 as a reform university.
