First Aid Emergencies for Children
Tuesday, May 20th - 10:00 to 10:50 AM
Summer, sun and hopefully no sunburn... But these aren’t the only challenges young parents face as the weather warms up. Sunstroke, heat exhaustion, ticks, mosquitoes, and wasps can all turn a simple trip to the playground into a real ordeal. In this session, I’ll show you the proper first aid techniques for everyday situations with babies and toddlers – and share preventative tips to help you avoid these problems. If you have the time and interest to learn more about First Aid Emergencies for Children I’d love to welcome you to my online lecture on May 20th at 10 a.m., followed by a discussion round.
Presentation Language: German
This event will take place online.

About the person
My name is Julia Kerckhoff-Panzram. I have more than 10 years of experience as a trained pediatric nurse in intensive care and anesthesia at the Klinikum Bremen-Mitte. For the last 6 years I have been working as a freelance instructor for pediatric first aid and have an additional qualification as a first aid instructor for children (according to DGUV 304-001). I offer courses in hospitals, midwifery practices, AOK and Werder Bremen projects and early intervention centers, sometimes with an interpreter. My goal is to give parents, grandparents and older siblings a clear roadmap for dealing with emergencies - hoping they won't need it too soon, but will know exactly what to do when they need it.
