"Next Gen Decisions: Global Challenges, Local Actions" is the theme of the inaugural Decision-Making Week at the University of Bremen. For five days, everything will revolve around the future of decision-making. During the various events, participants will discuss the challenges and practical implications of decisions that will shape the future, with a particular focus on digital governance, smart cities, and the ethical dimensions of technology and governance.
Sustainability Marketing

Sustainability issues are the biggest challenges for companies. The course provides a systematic, step-by-step approach to sustainability marketing and shows how the complexity of sustainability issues can be integrated into marketing.
Sustainability Communication

How do we speak of, about and for sustainability? This module discusses the role of communication in relation to sustainability. Different dimensions will be analysed and future research questions and perspectives for communication practice will be discussed.

Decision Theory

The course "Decision Theory" focuses on the microeconomic foundations of individual decision-making under certainty and uncertainty. The focus is not on the formal aspects of decision calculations and equilibrium concepts, but on their practical application documented by experiments.

This course focuses on the individual organisation of the leadership role. Participants learn how to deal with role conflicts and develop practical solutions.
Individual decision making

The course deals with the complexity of decision making situations and the consequences of individual decisions through a psychological perspective.
