Our Language Resource Centre is in Werderstra?e, Room B112, and offers

a small reference library with materials for a number of languages (e.g. English, French, Portuguese)
information about the complete language portfolio offered by the SZHB (tutoring programme, language courses, special events, who to contact)
free access to the Macmillan English Campus and Rosetta Stone language learning portals
grammar tutorials for a variety of languages
language cafés for a range of languages
placement tests for English (c-test) and 14 other languages (Dialang)
help with organising a language tandem
Independent study tips in Moodle: tips and options for more than 15 languages to help you with your independent study

Opening hours during the winter semester 2023/24 (October 16, 2023 to February 2, 2024):

Mondays: 10:00 - 18:00

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 10:00 - 16:00

Thursdays: closed

Opening hours from October 9 to October 13, 2023 (O-Woche) and from February 5 to February 9, 2024:

Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays: 10:00 - 15:00
Thursdays: 11:00 - 15:00
Wednesdays: closed

From February 12, 2024, the SLZ will remain closed until further notice.
