Summer Schools

German courses in 2026

Our International Summer School is more than simply a language course. We also put together a multi-faceted cultural programme for you.

Classroom instruction

You will learn German on-site in language classes and put it into practice. As a beginner, you will order in German at a caf¨¦ for the first time, and at an advanced level, you will have discussions with German students.

The International Summer Course takes place directly at the university.

After class, your first stop is usually the cafeteria, and then you can take part in afternoon activities such as sports or excursions into the city.

When you explore the city, you will see why Bremen is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany.

Dates and formalities

4-week on-site course: August 3 to August 28, 2026

Registration deadline: June 15, 2026

Late registrations

If there are still places available, registration is also possible after the official registration deadline.

Confirmation

As soon as we have received your documents (registration and a copy of the bank transfer or check), you will receive written confirmation by email. If you need a visa, you will receive an official invitation.

Cancellation

If you cancel after the registration deadline, the following processing fees will be retained:

Up to 4 weeks before the start of the course: 25% of the course price

Up to 2 weeks before the start of the course: 50% of the course price.

No refunds will be given for cancellations made after this date.

4-week course: €790.00

We can help you find accommodation. Specifically, this would be a private room with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, either in a family home or a shared flat.
Price: €420, to be paid on site.
