The MAPEX Center for Materials and Processes is represented by its speaker and the vice speaker, supported by the science manager. The central decision making body is the Executive Board, consisting of ten Principal Investigators (PI) and two Early Career Investigators (ECI). The International Advisory Board advises the center with respect to its strategic develompent.

MAPEX Executive Board

The ten members of the executive board are elected for two years by the plenary meeting of the PIs, additionally two ECIs are assigned to be members of the executive board. The speaker and vice speaker are elected for two years from the ranks of the executive board.
