Studying at the Faculty
?Our programs offer you plenty of room for individualized and research-oriented studies. With the choice of a major, a voluntary semester abroad or the integration of an internship, we offer you a variety of opportunities. We look forward to having you!“
Katy Roseland-Müller, Study Center Business Studies and Economics
Individuality is very important to us. Our study structure gives you the opportunity to organize your studies according to your personal interests. Already in the bachelor's degree programs you have the opportunity to choose individual majors, for example Marketing or Finance. Building on this, we offer a variety of specializations in the Master's program. From this you can choose two main focuses and thus complete your own individual profile.
In addition, we teach innovative - with up-to-date content, innovative teaching concepts and particularly strong practical relevance. In various project events with partner companies, both in Bachelor and in Master programs, you work on real-life issues. Practical training is supported by regular involvement from specialist in our courses.
We do not leave you alone. During your studies, you will receive comprehensive support from us. During our orientation week, which takes place at the beginning of the first semester, you will get to meet your fellow students and our student council. These "older" semesters students accompany you in the first week and give you valuable tips and information regarding your studies.
With us you are part of a whole. Our study program is designed to promote your personal development and strengthen your social skills. You learn and work together with your fellow students, for instance, on selected projects in your focus areas of study. We also stay connected outside the university. Every winter, the Faculty dances at the "Night of the Profs". In addition, our students organize various sporting events, for example a black light football tournament.
Bremen offers you a home. Here you can enjoy all the advantages of a big city, without having to give up a homelike atmosphere. Experience history in the Schnoor, stroll along the Schlachte, enjoy the sun on the Werdersee, "Up'n Swutsch" in the Viertel or simply fall into the green at the Osterdeich. In our charming Hanseatic city everyone will find their own favorite spot.
