Management Information Systems

As a consecutive study program, the Master's program in Management Information Systems requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the following subjects: Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Studies, Economics, Digital Media, Industrial Engineering. With the completion of the Master’s degree, a direct career entry is possible. Besides that, students can also deepen their knowledge of business informatics / management information systems by doing a doctoral program.

Academic Program Curriculum

The Master Program Management Information Systems (MIS) has a standard duration of four semesters and concludes with the degree "Master of Science" (M.Sc.). The content of the Master's courses is oriented towards the interdisciplinary combination of business administration and information technology. Specific features are the combination of profound knowledge in both disciplines and the consolidation of contents in the area of Management Information Systems, which explicitly distinguishes the program from other business informatics programs.
