Núria Pedrós Barnils ist Doktorandin in der Abteilung für Gesundheitsf?rderung und Pr?vention im Institut für Public Health und Pflegeforschung an der Universit?t Bremen. Sie hat Abschlüsse in Biosystems Engineering, Public Health und Migration Studies. Derzeit lehrt sie im Rahmen von zwei Seminaren zu Global Health und Intersektionalit?tstheorie. Ihre Forschung, eingerahmt innerhalb der Theorie der Intersektionalit?t, konzentriert sich einerseits darauf zu verstehen, welche Bev?lkerungsgruppen am st?rksten gef?hrdet sind, keine Gesundheitsdienste in Anspruch zu nehmen, und andererseits auf die zugrunde liegenden Mechanismen, die diese Gesundheitsungleichheiten erkl?ren.
