The LIFE module study for working people
LIFE stands for innovative, flexible and successful learning. With LIFE you can take part in selected modules taken from the various study programs offered at the University of Bremen, sit for exams, and earn credit points. LIFE is aimed at working people, jobseekers and returnees. Do you want to keep up to date with the latest research in your field? Then you will take individual modules that fit your professional work priorities. Do you want to reorient your career or deepen your skills in a certain field? LIFE certificate programs bundle modules into a qualification profile.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. At present, the innovative module study LIFE is still in the test phase, for which special rules apply.

Senior studies offer you the opportunity to build on these wishes. For now the only important thing is what you are really interested in!

Every semester, you have the opportunity to attend selected courses at the University. in addition, the courses offered by the Academy of Continuing Education - especially on popular topics and exclusively for senior students - complete the program.
Lecture program
It's semester break? But not in senior studies!
In the spring and the fall, you can explore interesting topics through the lecture series and daily seminars - compact and professionally delivered.
