The MAPEX Center for Materials and Processes via the MAPEX Core Facility for Materials Analytics (MAPEX-CF) invites Early Career Researchers (ECRs)* to apply for short-term research grants.

Are you eager to visit another university or research facility, gain access to new expertise, and expand your international network?
The Outgoing Research Grant is designed exactly for you. With funding of up to €4,300, this program helps cover yourtravel and analysis costs for short-term stays at institutions outside Bremen¡ª both within Germany and internationally.

Strengthen Science from Within
Are you already part of MAPEX or the University of Bremen and looking for extra support to move your project forward?
Do you need funding for analyses, experiments, or short-term collaborations that will strengthen your MSc, PhD, or postdoctoral research?
The Internal Research Grant provides up to €2,000 (more in exceptional cases) to cover analysis costs within MAPEX. It is designed to foster in-house collaborations, accelerate your research, and give your project the resources it needs to succeed.
