MAPEX Core Facility Workshop on In-situ Analysis

In-situ, in-operando and in-process methods are suitable to study technical processes while they are running. Applications span from Chemistry and Physics to Process Engineering. 

In-situ refers to measurements performed under conditions that match the actual environment of the system, without removing or significantly altering it. In-operando and in-process describes experiments in which a system is analyzed under real working conditions, while it is actively functioning. Often such studies are found at the borders of the disciplines, providing an important impact on fostering interdisciplinary work among these. 

This workshop brings together experts and young scientists and will cover both, an introduction into the methodology as well as insights into recent results.
