Many people experience situations in everyday life in which they are treated unfairly or disadvantaged. Whether at work, at school, during leisure time, when shopping or visiting restaurants, when looking for accommodation or at the job center—discrimination can occur anywhere and in many different forms.

That is why the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency is conducting its largest study on discrimination to date. The survey will run from November 12, 2025, to February 28, 2026.
