Postal election of KRAM
In the week from June 9 - 15, 2025 - immediately following the elections of the University Committees - elections are held for the XV. Council of the College of Academic Employees (KRAM).
Who is entitled to vote?
All academic employees from all academic organizational units (faculties, central research facilities, collaborative research centers, graduate schools and operating units of the university) which have previously declared their membership with the College of Academic Employees (KAM) are eligible to vote and stand as candidate.
Who can stand as candidate?
All members of the KAM can stand as candidate for the KRAM. Both individual and list candicacies are accepted. Nominations can and should come from as many faculties and central research facilities as possible. The deadline for submission of election proposals to the KRAM executive board ended on Monday, 26 May 12:00 pm.
How are elections held?
Elections are held exclusively by postal ballot. Please download the ballot paper and ballot signature document, print out these documents and take 2 envelopes. Now choose your preferred candidate on the ballot paper, place the ballot in envelope 1 and seal it. Thereafter, fill out the postal ballot signature document and put it in envelope 2. In case you should not yet be a member of the KAM, please declare your membership on page 2. Finally, place envelope 1 in envelope 2, seal it and mail it to the KRAM. For your reference, the procedure is illustrated below. After the deadline of the postal vote, an electoral commission counts the votes. The election result will be announced shortly after on the homepage and via the KAM mailing list.

Election of representative bodies
Every two years, academic employees elect their representatives for the representative bodies of academic self-governance. The elections to the University Committees allow you to elect representatives for the Academic Senate (AS), the University's principal decision-making body, and the faculty councils (FBR).
