The BCE Conference brings together international academia, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss belonging, connectedness, and embeddedness in entrepreneurial ecosystems. The focus is particularly on migrant and refugee entrepreneurs, whose potential for regional economies is often limited by a lack of networks and institutional barriers.

Key topics include migration and entrepreneurship, support systems, diversity, and open innovation spaces. 

BCE highlights:

- Inspiring keynotes, including from Prof. Monder Ram OBE, DL, an internationally recognized expert on minority entrepreneurship.
- Contributions from Irene Aniteye, founder of AiDiA – Afro-German Startup Pitch, and Prof. Jan Rath, sociologist specializing in urbanity and cultural diversity.
