Modelling & Simulation
We develop mathematical models and simulations of biophysical and biomedical processes for clinical applications. We closely collaborate with other research fields to support diagnosis and therapy. Our patient-specific models allow us to predict and optimize therapy success.

Image Registration
Image registration is one of the key tools in medical image analysis. It allows for finding corresponding positions in image data from different time points and different image types (MRI, ultrasound, CT). We research both data-driven and classical registration methods for all image types.
LifeSpan AI
Deep Integration of Long-term Health Data
The research group aims to further develop AI methods and tools to model, predict, and explain the development of diseases across the lifespan using high-dimensional data.
