Teaching for prospective teachers and other educational professionals
The Unit for Intercultural Education provides training for future teachers and other educational professionals, for example in adult education or research. Intercultural Education is understood as an interdisciplinary approach within the educational sciences which focusses on educational processes in socio-culturally heterogeneous groups in migration societies, particularly with regard to migration experiences, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, and social background. Future educators are sensitized for decision-making in diverse educational settings, to react transnationally inclusive and sensitive to discrimination and racism.
German is the language of instruction for nearly all seminars of this unit, but all seminars are open for translanguaging and international guest give inputs in courses. More information on teaching can be found in German by switching to the German versionthis website.
