Vita:
Dennis Barasi works as a research assistant and Ph.D. student in the Unit of Intercultural Education at the University of Bremen since December 2016. His focus is on negotiation processes surrounding migration in migration society in his Ph.D. project. Barasi is teaching on racism and political positioning in migration society, and he coordinates a lecture about heterogeneity. In December 2016, Barasi submitted his master’s thesis in the department of Intercultural Iducation (AbIB) of the University of Bremen on the topic "racism-based schemata of interpretations in the context of refugee policy discussions in the academic sphere". In 2014 he completed his B.Sc. in mathematics at the Competence Center for Clinical Trials (KKSB) at the University of Bremen. Barasis’ bachelor thesis deals with the modeling of credit risks.
