This module discusses the role of communication in relation to sustainability. Different dimensions will be analysed and future research questions and perspectives for communication practice will be discussed.
Overview
This course discusses the role of communication in relation to sustainability.
Different dimensions will be analysed:
- the communication of sustainability (in marketing, PR and organisational and corporate communication),
- communication about sustainability (environmental, climate change and sustainability communication in the media)

The course will be supplemented by interviews with experts from various sister disciplines, in which sustainability communication will be discussed from several disciplinary perspectives (in particular science and environmental communication, communication for social change and journalism or media studies).
