Introduction

Tenzin Yeshi earned his PhD from the Chair in Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of Bremen in November 2024. He holds an M.Phil in Economics and a Master in Applied Economics from Christ University, Bangalore. His research focuses on refugee and displaced migrant entrepreneurship through qualitative methods, addressing the challenges and exploring practical solutions.

He has also been involved in projects that support refugee entrepreneurship. He contributed to the Erasmus? funded VIFRE project, establishing virtual incubators for refugee entrepreneurs. He was also involved in a research project investigating Ukrainian refugee entrepreneurs in Moldova, which GIZ funded as part of the Digital Transformation of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Eastern Partnership Countries (DTT4SME) project.
