Marco Deppe studied Social Sciences at Georg August University of G?ttingen and at the Technical University of Braunschweig, earning a Master of Arts degree in 2020 in the program “Organization, Governance, Education” with a specialization in Sociology and Educational Psychology.
During his studies, he worked as a tutor for quantitative data analysis, as a test administrator in educational research (e.g., PISA, NEPS), and as a research assistant in a sociological project on the methodological development of sequence data analysis. After completing his studies, he initially worked at the Institute of Law at the Technical University of Braunschweig.
Since September 2021, Mr. Deppe has been working as a research assistant in the Personality Psychology and Psychological Diagnostics working group on the TwinLife project (project website) and is currently pursuing his doctorate as part of the project. His dissertation deals with genetic and environmental sources of subjective well-being.
