Since 2019, Annette Kristiansen (formerly Meyerhoff) has been an external doctoral student in the research group of Prof. Dr. Jutta Günther. She previously studied economics at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. From January 2018 to March 2020, she worked as a consultant for labour market as well as research and development in the Department of Economics and Statistics at the Association of German Mechanical and Plant Engineering (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V.). Since April 2020, she has been a research assistant at the Federal Statistical Office of Germany. There, she starts by looking at the potential for scientific analysis through linked microdata (foreign trade and business data).
