Thomas ist seit Mai 2016 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am LEMEX.

Nach seinem Bachelor- und Masterstudium an der Universit?t Bremen - mit dem Studienschwerpunkt ?Internationales Entrepreneurship, Management & Marketing“ - sowie einem Auslandssemester an der Syddansk Universitet Odense, D?nemark - hat Thomas zun?chst Praxiserfahrung im Kooperationsmanagement bei MeinFernbus/Flixbus in Berlin gesammelt und dabei die Berliner Startup Szene kennengelernt.

Seit 2016 verst?rkt er das LEMEX-Team in Forschung, Lehre und den Praxistransferaktivit?ten des Lehrstuhls.

Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen in den Themenbereichen Entrepreneurial Ecosystems, Rural Entrepreneurship, Migrant Entrepreneurship und Entrepreneurship Support in konzeptioneller und empirischer Weise. Im Jahr 2020 promovierte Thomas mit seiner Dissertationsschrift zum Thema ?Exploring the Idiosyncratic Nature of Entrepreneurial Ecosystems“.
In der Lehre bietet Thomas Forschungs- und Praxisseminare insbesondere im Masterprogramm an und betreut Studierende bei der Anfertigung ihrer Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten.
Thomas ist in den Transferaktivit?ten des Lehrstuhls engagiert. So ist er Teil des europ?ischen Forschungsprojektes Inno-Quarter, Mitglied in den bremischen Arbeitskreisen ?Startups & Innovationen“ und ?Migrationsunternehmertum“ sowie des Transfernetzwerks der Universit?t Bremen. Zudem organisierte Thomas diverse Workshops und 澳门皇冠_皇冠足球比分-劲爆体育 wie die Bremer Unternehmertage 2016, 2018 und 2020, und hat an der Entwicklung von Antragsstellungen für Drittmittelprojekte ma?geblich mitgewirkt. Auch in diversen Juryt?tigkeiten im Rahmen von Pitchveranstaltungen und Gründungspreisen vertritt Thomas den LEMEX regelm??ig. Seit 2022 richtet Thomas zudem einen monatlichen Gründungsstammtisch aus und setzt sich für die Vernetzung von Gründenden und Studierenden ein.
