Mathematics Education for Secondary Level
with the focusses
- Processes of learning and understanding of functions with multimedia
- Examination of explainer videos with regard to learning goal taxonomies, quality criteria and the subjective acceptance of the validity (German: Geltung) of contents

Martin Ohrndorf has been a doctoral student and research associate of Prof. Dr. Maike Vollstedt at the University of Bremen. His research interests lie in the area of processes of learning and understanding of functions with multimedia. On the one hand, he is interested in examining the design of multimedia learning environments, for example through an analysis of quality criteria, taxonomies of learning objectives and the subjective acceptance of the validity (German: Geltung) of contents. On the other hand, his interest lies in the area of processes of ??learning and understanding functional thinking, which he investigates, among other things, by analyzing the eye movements of students (eye tracking).
