Our research Group has attended the DPG Spring Meeting of the Condensed Matter Section (SKM) that has taken place on the campus of the University of Regensburg.

The following talks have been given:

12th International Workshop on Nitride Semiconductors O'ahu, Hawai'i — Hilton Hawaiian Village (2024)

Prof. Dr. Gordon Callsen has been invited to attend and give a talk at the 12th International Workshop on Nitride Semiconductors O'ahu, in Hawai'i. 

The topic of his talk: Combined optical and thermal characterization of III-nitride membranes by microphotoluminescence and Raman thermometry.

Besuch der Phonons2023 Konferenz


In der vergangenen Woche hat unsere Arbeitsgruppe die 17th International Conference on Phonon Scattering in Condensated Matter (Phonons2023) in Paris, Frankreich besucht.
Wir haben uns über viele interessante Vortr?ge und angeregte Diskussionen über die aktuellsten Entwicklungen in unserem Fachgebiet gefreut. Besonders freut uns, dass das Poster unseres Doktoranden Mahmoud Elhajhasan als bester der insgesamt 46 Posterbeitr?ge ausgezeichnet wurde.
Wir bedanken uns bei den Kollegen aus Paris herzlich für die Organisation der Phonons2023 und freuen uns schon auf die Phonons2025 in Buenos Aires, Argentinien!
