Research assistants

Since 2007, the university has offered a permanently updated human resources development programme for post-docs, doctoral students and academic staff. Every year, approximately 500 research assistants* take advantage of the corresponding support and funding opportunities. These are mainly workshops, seminars and group coaching sessions, which take place regularly during the lecture-free period. However, individual coaching is also offered and, upon request, special measures are planned and carried out in areas dependent on advice.

In principle, Human Resources Development supports post-docs and doctoral students in all interdisciplinary qualifications in connection with their academic work. At the same time, the young academics have the opportunity to put together their own individual training set, with which they can demonstrate the interdisciplinary qualifications necessary for their future academic and professional career.
