Bu?se Yüceer, research assistant in the HEARAZ project at the Institute of Public Health and Nursing Research (IPP) at the University of Bremen, conducts research in the Department of Nursing Science and Health Services Research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Karin Wolf-Ostermann.
On 28 August 2025, she successfully completed her doctorate at the Gülhane Health Sciences Institute, University of Health Sciences, Department of Internal Medical Nursing Science (Turkey).
In her dissertation entitled ‘Evaluation of the effectiveness of a developed mobile application for informal caregivers of people with dementia,’ she investigated how digital technologies can support family members caring for people with dementia in their everyday lives. Her research focused on evaluating the contribution of an innovative mobile application to the quality of life of informal caregivers and to the management of neuropsychiatric symptoms in people with dementia. The results underscore the potential of digital tools to promote the well-being of caregivers and support dementia care in everyday life.
After successfully defending her dissertation, Bu?se Yüceer is continuing her scientific work at the IPP.
