Nearly 100 participants from academia, practice and local authorities gathered at the annual "Healthy City" Conference on November 29th in the Kwadrat in Bremen.
The event featured a diverse program with exciting topics and interdisciplinary participants from both practice and academia. The Conference began with impulse presentations by the young academics from the Research Cluster, who gave an insight into the current status of their research projects. The subsequent PosterWalk session with posters and practice projects’ profiles, showed a diverse landscape of projects in Bremen and Bremerhaven related to health promotion and healthy urban development and enabled vivid exchange between participants and presenters.
For the first time, a new format – parallel workshops - was offered at the annual conference. Led by the young academics from the Research Cluster, the participants engaged in intensive discussions on the topics of: loneliness in Bremen, digital empowerment of elderly in social participation, environmental justice atlas and integrated small-scale monitoring, as well as climate neutrality in the health care system.
You can find the poster presentations and project profiles, as well as impressions from the conference here. The results from the workshop sessions will follow shortly here.
