Research assistants take a stand against right-wing extremism

Research assistants of the Faculty of Law joined the protest "Loud Against the Right" on 21 January 2024 in Bremen to take a stand for democratic coexistence.

We faculty members take a clear stance against anti-constitutional right-wing extremism. For us, the rule of law, human dignity and democracy are inviolable rights and their disregard cannot be tolerated. As legal scholars we are particularly aware that the condonement of right-wing policy may easily lead to the formation of autocratic elements. Therefore we stand up: for coexistence instead of confrontation, for equal rights instead of discrimination, for tolerance instead of exclusion, for more love instead of hate.
