Who may take the DAAD test at the SZHB?
Students enrolled at one of the universities listed below can acquire a DAAD language certificate at the SZHB.

Issue of certificate on the basis of previous courses
The DAAD language certificate can be issued on the basis of language modules/language courses that you have passed as part of your studies at one of the universities in the state of Bremen or at the SZHB.
The language certificate confirms the target level achieved in the module/course.
Take the DAAD test to obtain your language certificate
You can take a DAAD exam for English at the SZHB. To do this, please first determine your current language level by taking the C-test.
We recommend that you only take the DAAD English exam immediately if you have a C test result of B 2.2 or higher.

The DAAD English exam takes place online and consists of the following parts:
Reading an academic text (600 words) and summarising the main content in 180-200 words (summary)
Duration: 60 minutes
Subsequent examination discussion on the topic presented in the text (duration: 15 minutes)
A maximum of 5 people will be admitted to an appointment.
The DAAD language certificate will be issued shortly after the examination.
