UNIcert II accepted as B2 qualification
Bremen University, the HSB, HSBHV and the HfK accept UNIcert? II as a B2 qualification.
Furthermore, most academic institutions in Germany accept UNIcert? II as proof of language proficiency for Bachelor and Master applications. An overview of these institutions is available on the UNIcert? website.

If your language level in the placement test is B 2.1 or B 2.2, this is your entry level for the UNIcert? II program.
The following conditions apply for obtaining the UNIcert? II certificate:
- at least the two highest courses (B2.3) within a domain must be completed
- if only these two courses are taken, all sections of the examinations must be passed
- or: the Advanced Academic English C 1.1 course (all parts of the examination must be passed)
- 80% attendance is required to obtain the certificate
