Advice and placement tests - Italian

If you already have some knowledge of the language and are interested in taking a course above A1, we recommend you get in touch to discuss which course is best for you.

If you would like a rough idea of what your level is now, you can do one of these online tests:

• Einstufung in 15 Minuten: This test has been developed by the language test provider telc; it takes about 15 minutes and tests yours language skills in reading, listening, vocabulary and grammar. Each task has a countdown, i.e. when the time is up, you have to move on to the next tassk.

If you would like a more accurate assessment of your current level, go to:

• Einstufung Italienisch Klett: This cross-level placement test assesses your language skills in Italian up to the level B1. After the evaluation, you will receive the assessment results and your current language level.
• Einstufung Italienisch Hueber: This test consists of 48 tasks, from A1 to B2. At the end of the test, you will get an indication at which section of the book ‘Universitalia 2.0’ you can start working.
