Spanish language day

On the occasion of Spanish Language Day, the Instituto Cervantes is hosting an afternoon of language games and informational activities with a slide show on the topic of “50 Years of Democracy in Spain: The Culture” on September 11th at the central branch of the city library (Am Wall).

On September 11, the Instituto Cervantes will take you on a journey to honor the richness, diversity and importance of Spanish as a cultural language and offer games and hands-on activities related to the Spanish language.

Venue: Bremen Central Library, 2nd level

Language games and information stand: 15:00-18:00

Picture lecture "50 years of democracy in Spain: The Culture" at 15:00 with Elisa Catalá and at 16.30hrs a poem reading in Spanish as well as in Basque, Galician and Catalan, each with German translation. There will also be a small exhibition.

The event is offered in cooperation with the Language Center of the Universities in the State of Bremen (SZHB) and the Bremen City Library.
