The campus of the University of Bremen and the Technology Park Bremen are spatially inseparable. In close proximity to the University, The Technology Park Bremen encompasses over 500 high-tech companies with more than 12,000 employees. Many cooperation partners and spin-offs from the University are located in the Technology Park.
In the start-up network BRIDGE, the University of Bremen works together with the universities of Bremen and Bremerhaven as well as the Bremer Aufbaubank. In the framework of BRIDGE, the partners offer a broad program of information, advice and training measures for university start-ups.
The association is the interdisciplinary alumni network of the University of Bremen. It sees itself as an association of alumni for alumni. In addition to the mutual support of the alumni, the assosciation also actively supports the further development of the University of Bremen.

With over 26,000 members, i2b is the largest business and science network in northwest Germany. Each year, about 15 networking events are organized to inform about current, innovation-related topics, to network and to make personal contacts. In addition, a daily newsletter is published with economic and science news.
The Metrolpolitan Region Northwest is one of eleven metropolitan regions in Germany. It includes the state of Bremen and 14 cities and districts in Lower Saxony. The University of Bremen is a member of the Metropolitan Council. The TechnologieAllianz is the German Association for Knowledge and Technology Transfer. It unites universities, non-university research institutions and transfer service providers within a nationwide network. The TechnologieAllianz has a broad spectrum of offers from exchange of experience and further education, through concrete technology offers in its own Invention Store, to the representation of interests and the shaping of political framework conditions.
