YUFE Staff Journey

YUFE Staff

What is the YUFE Staff Journey and who is it aimed at?

The YUFE University Alliance offers a diverse and broad range of opportunities. The YUFE Staff Journey offers numerous opportunities for professional development for employees—from administration, technology, and professional service staff to academics:

  • Employees have the opportunity to participate in events at ten different universities free of charge. Participation is flexible, and the program offerings range from compact online courses to multi-day in-person events with a stay abroad.
  • Whether language courses – for example in English or Spanish – that can be completed online, or intensive continuing education programs on-site at one of the nine partner universities: the YUFE Staff Journey opens up a variety of learning and development opportunities in an international university network.

Structural university developments

The YUFE Staff Journey not only offers a wide range of continuing education courses for employees, but also actively contributes to structural changes at YUFE Universities. Through multimodal and interdisciplinary approaches as well as close cooperation between the ten academic institutions, we promote the dynamic development of the university structures. An important component of our work is the development of the YUFE Staff Development Policy, which aims to support the continuous professional development of employees. This policy forms the basis for our continuing education offerings, which specifically address the needs of academic support administrative staff, lecturers and researchers and thus contributes to long-term improvements. In addition, we have developed a Staff Recruitment Policy that ensures that the recruitment of staff not only meets current requirements but is also strategically aligned with the long-term development of the universities. In this way, the YUFE Staff Journey becomes a catalyst for change that will have a lasting impact on our academic landscape and increase educational success at all levels.
