Bremen Music Festival – Kick-off at Forum at Domshof

The Bremen Music Festival opened on August 16 under the theme “A Grand Night of Music.” One of the nine venues located around Bremen’s market square was Forum at Domshof, part of the University of Bremen.

Forum at Domshof was the venue for the Alfredo Rodriguez Quintet, whose program featured a fusion of Latin, jazz, son, pop, tango, and funk. Founded by artistic director Thomas Albert, the international music festival takes place annually over three weeks in August and September and offers a wide range of concerts in Bremen and the surrounding area, from opera and symphonic music to choral and chamber music, as well as solo recitals.

Forum at Domshof has been the university's location in downtown Bremen since November 2024. In addition to the Faculty of Law, the Center of Labor and Politics (ZAP), the Institute for Labor and Economy (iaw), the Academy for Higher Education Access Development – HERE AHEAD, and the Juridicum, the law branch library of the State and University Library Bremen (SuUB), have also moved into the building.
