YUFE funds available - YUFE call for departmental activities!
We would like to support the departments and subjects in their activities for YUFE with this call for proposals!
What can be funded?
We can support measures that further embed YUFE in your discipline, increase YUFE's visibility, or strengthen exchange with YUFE partner universities (e.g., YUFE Research Relay).
We also want to support activities that make courses more flexible (e.g., virtual, hybrid, taught in English) and then open them up to YUFE. Measures that lead to a stable range of courses in YUFE contexts are of particular interest (e.g., in the YUFE Course Catalogue or as a YUFE minor).
It is necessary that at least one of the other YUFE partner universities is involved; ideally, in addition to the University of Bremen, two or more partners are involved.
This is an example list:
- Acquisition of technical equipment to promote virtual and hybrid teaching within the YUFE context.
- Funding for the translation of teaching units into English to make them more appealing within the YUFE context.
- Funding for didactic support of teaching settings to make them more accessible to YUFE students.
- Student assistants to support your YUFE activities (e.g., administrative or organizational support for workshops, collaborations, and courses).
- Teaching assignments that directly lead to offerings in the YUFE Course Catalogue.
- Seed funding for the development of an application for a Blended Intensive Program (Erasmus+) within the YUFE Alliance.
- Organization and moderation of YUFE networking meetings/workshops and their catering (daily rate).
- Printing and design costs related to YUFE.
- Travel expenses directly related to YUFE activities at the Alliance level (please also consider and check the options offered by Erasmus+Staff beforehand).
What cannot be funded?
- Technical equipment for staff (e.g. work laptops)
- Staff costs other than student assistants (SHKs)
Further steps and amount of funds?
Please submit your project proposal by email to Svenja Renner and YUFE by March 31, 2026. The application (maximum 1 page as a PDF file) should detail the specific planned purchases/expenditures. What is the objective of the project? Which YUFE partner universities are involved? How will the project be implemented (schedule)?
You can request a total grant of up to €5,000. Invoices and proof of expenditure, as well as documentation of the project's implementation, must be from 2026.
You will receive feedback on your application in April 2026.
